S. Debono Jewellers in its current form, traces its origins to Paul Debono, a jewellery artisan who set up shop in Ħamrun, marking the beginning of a new chapter in Malta’s jewellery heritage. His success led to further expansion into Paola and Mosta, solidifying the "Debono tad-Deheb" name as a hallmark of renown and value.

From a young age, one of Paul’s sons Stephen immersed himself in the craft, focusing on the delicate art of filigree and picking up the tricks of the trade by the age of 12. The Ħamrun shop and the company’s trading name would eventually come to be titled after Stephen. As demand grew, Emvin Debono, the eldest brother and an engineer, joined forces, bringing his expertise to help the company thrive and emerge in its current modern form.

Today, S. Debono Jewellers, now in its third generation, continues to strongly believe in its word-of-mouth approach, aiming to reach hearts and enhance beauty through their exquisite jewellery.
